Presented by Richard Braithwaite from Strategia Limited
Continuous improvement is about adding more value, less waste for each hour we work.
In the lunch session we will work through a simple methodology for adding more value for less time and cost. We will talk about the methods that:
- Define value from your customer’s point of view
- Examine how your company adds that value
- How to maximise value and minimize waste
- Ease bottlenecks, make your work processes flow
- How to keep improving
Whether you run a hospital, a manufacturing facility, accountancy, supermarket or gym, we all have process that we follow to get things done. Taking a closer look at these processes and how they interact and add value can result in surprising improvements.
Continuous Improvement is about carrying on the improvement methodology as a part of everyday work, so profits and customer satisfaction grows over time.
Why don’t we do this naturally?
We are busy just surviving, time is short. Change seems like hard work, even if it makes life easier in the long run. Simple effective methods and mentoring make it easier.
